Whispering Hope(희망의 속삭임)

Soft as the voice of an angel
Breathing a lesson unheard 
Hope with a gentle persuasion 
Whispers her comforting world 

Wait till the darkness is over 
Wait till the tempest is done 
Hope for the sunshine tomorrow 
After the shower is gone 

Whispering hope 
Oh how welcome thy voice 
Making my heart in its sorrow rejoice 

If,in the dusk of the twilight 
Dim be the region afar 
Will not the deepening darkness 
Brighten the glimmering star 

Then when the night is upon us 
Why should the heart sink away 
When the dark midnight is over
Watch for the breaking of day  


천사의 목소리처럼 부드럽게 
들어보지 않은 귀한말씀을 속삭여요. 
온화한 설득력을 가진 희망은 
격려의 말을 속삭입니다. 

어둠이 끝날때까지 기다리라고 
폭풍우가 끝날때까지 기다리라고 
소나기가 끝난후에 찬란히 빛나는 
내일의 태양에 대한 희망을 가지라고요.

속삭이는 희망,
오 그대의 음성이 얼마나 반가운지,
슬픔에 찬 내 마음을 즐겁게 합니다.

어둠깃드는 황혼무렵에 
멀리 떨어진 곳이 희미해지면 
깊어가는 어둠은 깜빡이는 별을 
더욱 더 밝게 하지 않나요. 

그리고 밤이 우리에게 다가올때면 
마음이 차분히 가라앉지요. 
어두운 밤이 끝날땐
